In 1986, Brovedani began working directly with producers of components for automotive use. In 1997, it met the challenge of producing high technology automotive components and became a leading supplier of parts for Common Rail diesel systems. At present, automotive products are the principal market for the Group, as demonstrated by the fact that 40% of the approximately 35 million Common Rail diesel injectors produced in the world contain Brovedani components, and that 50% of the cars made in Europe are equipped with Brovedani starting motor shafts (which are produced at a rate of 1,200,000 per month). This high production capacity is accompanied by close attention to the customer’s needs, a fact that is particularly expressed in the design of components for Common Rail injection systems and pumps.
